About Tess
What are you waiting for? Apply today! Tess arrived at Stop the Suffering from rural Kentucky and has spent several months in foster care while her medical needs were addressed and she regained her health for adoption. If you're a fan of Pomeranians, this loving senior lady could be your ideal snuggle partner. At around 12-13 years old and about 14 pounds, Tess faces some mobility challenges, but her spirit remains undaunted. She moves around with determination, though she requires a home without stairs and adores being carried. Tess currently lives with both other dogs and a cat and would do well as either an only pet or with gentle, senior companions. Tess needs daily medication for low thyroid, blood pressure, and Cushing’s disease, as well as twice-daily eye ointment for dry eyes, but she rewards care with sweetness and a deep love for petting. She’s ready to spend her golden years in a loving, patient home where snuggles are frequent and someone can appreciate her gentle nature. For those curious about astrology, Tess is a Taurus—known for being reliable and affectionate! Make their next chapter their best one yet. Stop the Suffering is a foster-based, volunteer-run rescue without a physical shelter, and the adoption process includes an application, home visit, and scheduled meet-and-greets for approved adopters. Ohio residents only are eligible to adopt.
