About Shirley

Click apply to start the adoption process. "We're gonna make it, give us any chance we'll take it... We're gonna make our dreams come true, doing it our way..." Like their namesakes, Laverne and Shirley (and their friend Carmine) are resilient, loving, and eager to make their dreams come true with your help. These three were rescued from a dangerous situation in Vernon, where few cats survived, thanks to a dedicated individual who couldn't leave them behind. Initially, only Shirley was to be saved, thanks to her young age and early signs of sociability. Soon, it became clear that Laverne and Carmine also had the potential to be cherished companions. With some extra care, all three were saved and have come such a long way. Today, Laverne and Shirley shine as sweet, playful kittens, closely bonded and thriving together. Their wish is to find a forever home side by side. If you have room in your heart and home for one more, Carmine is making great strides—still a little shy but unmistakably gentle and loving. He just needs someone patient to prove the world can be a safe place. Let’s help these wonderful kittens continue to thrive—happy, safe, and home at last. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
