February 2025 update: Sweet Laney is looking for a foster or forever home where she can play, zoomie, and have lots of cuddles. She is still learning that not all humans and pups are scary, and we just know with love, consistency, and good exercise this girlie is going to gain lot of confidence! Hello sports fans! We’ve got the perfect pup for you! This is Laney, named after the University of Memphis’s Tiger Lane. A few weeks ago, she wandered up to two kind women at a tailgate. They took her in and when no one came forward to claim her, they reached out to Streetdog to help her find the perfect forever home! Laney is around three years old, 40 lbs, and dog—and cat-friendly! Her personality is a mix of playful and relaxed. While she LOVES her toys and can often be found carrying them around, happily squeaking away, her favorite pastime is definitely napping on the couch (we don’t blame her; who can resist a good nap?). She's been working hard on her manners and already knows how to sit on command and give her paw—both paws, actually! She's still learning “down,” but with a little patience, she’s getting there!
