About Cassie
What are you waiting for? Apply today! Beautiful brindle momma Cassie is a charming Plott Hound mix who found safe haven just in time to welcome her puppies in comfort. At around 3 years old and weighing about 55 pounds, Cassie has lovingly raised her little ones, and now she’s ready for her own forever home. With her puppies adopted, her playful and goofy side is beginning to shine. Though she is incredibly sweet, Cassie is quite shy at first—especially around new people—and takes a little while to warm up. She bonds more quickly with women and takes a bit longer with men, but once she trusts you, she will shower you with loyalty and affection. Cassie is wonderful with all other dogs and would truly thrive in a quiet home with at least one confident canine companion. This smart girl quickly figured out how to ring bells to go outside for potty time! She still needs some confidence with leash walking, so a secure, fenced yard is a must, and apartment living is not the best fit for her at this stage. Continued gentle confidence-building will help her flourish. Cassie is hoping to find an Ohio adopter who can provide the patient, loving forever family she deserves. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
