About Shante
Shante is a young, short-coated black lab mix who’s equal parts energy and charm. This playful pup has a mischievous glint in her eye, always on the lookout for someone to toss a ball or teach her a new trick. At about 8-9 months old and 30 pounds, she’s still discovering the world—and she’s eager to share every bit of it with her people. Housebreaking, crate training, and basic obedience are coming along well for Shante; she’s smart and picks up routines quickly. She thrives in an active home and would love a fenced yard for safe play. Because Shante is such a social dog, her rescue would love her to go to a home with another friendly canine; she adores doggy pals and genuinely comes alive in their company. She did well meeting a cat, although the cat wasn’t really interested, which disappointed her gentle spirit. Shante gets along with other dogs, cats, and children, so she could fit into many family shapes. Bring her home and she’ll keep you laughing and on your toes. Ready to fall in love?
