About Lobo

Lobo is a striking Siberian Husky/mixed breed who’s spent more than a year waiting for his family. After making it through life as a street-savvy stray near Cancun, he’s now safe here in Bend, Oregon, soaking up sanctuary life but dreaming of a home to call his own. Lobo loves outdoor adventures—for him, hikes, long walks, and snowy romps are the good life. He’s active, social, and happiest at your side, always up for the next outing or road trip. With people and other dogs, Lobo is genuinely friendly and open, and he keeps pace with even the most energetic playmates in foster care. A securely fenced yard and a family who loves being outdoors are musts for him. Lobo does especially well with adults or older, dog-savvy kids who understand Husky energy, and isn’t suited for homes with cats. Lobo is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped—ready to move in with his new family as soon as the right person comes along. He’s clever and adaptable but will need patience as he adjusts to indoor life, since most of his time has been outside to date. An experienced or Husky-loving adopter would be a great fit, willing to offer structure and routine as Lobo finds his rhythm in a home. After surviving the streets and waiting so long, he’s ready for a couch to call his own. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
