About Big Hoss
Meet Big Hoss, a big-hearted, hug-loving buff tabby who turns three this year. He is a natural extrovert: always ready for a chat, quick with a head bump or a cuddle, and entirely devoted to people. If you want a cat who is genuinely affectionate and interactive, Big Hoss has you covered. His size is matched only by his need for company and comfort. Big Hoss was diagnosed with Feline Leukemia (FeLV) about a year ago. He has stayed healthy and happy since, but FeLV can shorten a cat’s lifespan and does mean he needs to be the only cat, unless he joins another FeLV-positive companion. Dogs or people aren’t at risk. His rescue is open to a “Forever Foster” arrangement—he gets the love and security of a home, and they handle future medical care. He’s a strictly indoor guy who will thrive with someone ready for a bond built on daily contact and affection. Big Hoss gets along with other cats and dogs, and welcomes kids, provided they understand he’s not just a plaything but a true part of the family. This cat has a lot of love to give and deserves it back. Let’s find Big Hoss the person—and the lap—he’s been waiting for. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
