About Wolfy

Wolfy is a 5-year-old French Bulldog who came to the rescue when his previous family couldn’t manage his ongoing medical issues and faced imminent displacement. Wolfy deals with environmental allergies, a heart murmur, and Addison’s disease. He takes daily Apoquel and Vetmedin, and hasn't had an Addison’s crisis since last February. During tough times, he bounced back with Prednisone, showing real resilience. Wolfy’s playful side is never far away—he’s known to grab a stuffy to take outside, which always gets a smile. He does well around most other dogs but truly loves human companionship, often choosing to play or cuddle with people over canine company. With his experience around kids of different ages, he's proved himself reliable and sweet. Because of his medical conditions, anesthesia poses serious risks, so he is not neutered. Wolfy will do best in a home with only male or spayed female dogs. A little boy once said his look reminded him of a wolverine, which is how he got his name.
