About Turtle

Turtle is a sweet brindle mix, rescued from a hoarding situation where she lived with nearly 20 other dogs. She was skinny at intake, but she eats well and has been steadily gaining healthy weight in her foster home. Turtle wastes no time telling you how she feels—she's especially talkative when she's happy, hungry, or eager for a walk. She’s making good progress with crate and housetraining and gets along well with both the dogs and cats in her foster setting. Turtle is still learning the basics; she already has 'sit' down and is working on leash manners. 'Stay' is a work in progress. She’s up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and recently dewormed, with preventatives on board. Her spay surgery is coming up soon, and her foster will update with recovery details after.
