About Fred
Start your journey together! Apply now. Frank and Fred are two sweet bonded brothers who are playful and affectionate, though they can be a bit shy until they get to know you — but who isn’t a little shy at first? After being returned to the rescue twice through no fault of their own, these boys are eager for attention and companionship. The moment you start petting them, their backs arch, their tails lift, and they press in for affection, making it clear how much they crave human love. First adopted in 2022, Frank had a brief adventure, escaping and breaking his leg, but after surgery he fully recovered. Sadly, their first home wasn’t able to keep them safely indoors, so they were returned in hopes of finding a more secure and loving environment. Their second adoption in 2023 also ended in a return, this time in September 2024, because they did not get along with other animals in the home. Although they are a little plumper now, their personalities shine just as brightly! Frank & Fred are looking for a forever home where they can be the only pets, soaking up attention and love as cherished family members. It’s heartbreaking that these loving boys are back at the rescue, longing once again for sunny spots, window views, and snuggles with their person. They must be adopted together — double the love and double the joy awaits! Fun fact: With a July 2nd birthday, these boys are Cancers, known for their affectionate and home-loving natures! Make their next chapter their best one yet.
