About Titus
What are you waiting for? Apply today! Titus is a large, handsome American Staffordshire Terrier who has been waiting far too long for his chance at a loving home. At about six years old and weighing between 65 to 70 pounds, he is eager to find a family who can give him the TLC and belly rubs he so deserves. Titus walks well on a leash and is mostly house trained, and his love of treats makes continued housetraining a breeze. He can get a bit excited and tends to jump when he’s on leash, but he responds well to a firm command and a tasty treat. Because of this, a home without small children is best for him. Titus is people-oriented and has been friendly with other dogs at the shelter. However, he will need a thoughtful introduction to any future canine companions, especially since he might not tolerate another dog jumping on him. With a securely fenced yard to explore, Titus would be happiest in a patient family environment where he can finally settle in and thrive. Fun fact: as a Capricorn, Titus is likely to be loyal and smart—traits that shine through in his personality. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
