About Louise
Sweet Louise has blossomed since settling into her foster home in Sugar Land, TX. She arrived nervous and wary of human contact, often retreating to the back of her crate when anyone approached. With time and patience, she’s started to embrace the comforts of indoor life: these days, she prefers lounging on the couch or snoozing in bed with other dogs. Louise has begun to enjoy affection and cuddles, but only on her terms—she’ll let you know when she’s in the mood. Leash walks are still a challenge, but she gets along well with other dogs and is house trained with the help of a dog door. Toys are no issue; she’s happy to share with her foster siblings. Louise will thrive in a calm, patient household that understands she’s still learning to trust people and live as part of a family. She does not get along with cats, so a feline-free home is best. Louise is ready for someone who can help her continue building confidence and become a cherished house pup. Click apply to start the adoption process.
