Moose
AvailableMoose is a small, adult, neutered male who is part Chihuahua and part Dachshund. He is currently up to date on his vaccinations and is living in Phelan, CA. Moose gets along well with other dogs and is looking for a calm, understanding home with women only.
About Moose
Moose came to rescue from a neglectful hoarding case in L.A., where he spent most of his life crated. After being brought in with a small group of others, Moose received much-needed baths, vaccines, good meals, and a place to finally rest. He's a gentle soul, but his past still lingersāheās very afraid of men and must go to a home with only women. With time and patience, Mooseās friendly, playful side shines through, especially outside where he opens up for play and affection. Heāll need a quieter home with someone willing to let him settle in at his own pace. Give Moose a chance, and heāll repay you with genuine warmth and snuggles. Ready to meet your new best friend? Questions about Moose
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Moose, as a Chihuahua/Dachshund mix, typically does best in a quieter home. Due to his small size and history, an environment with gentle routines and not too much noise will help him feel safe.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Chihuahua/Dachshund mixes like Moose benefit from regular outdoor time, but a large yard isn't necessary. A secure, modest yard or frequent walks are sufficient.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Moose's mix can do well with calm, respectful children, but given his background and need for a woman-only home, he may be better suited to adult households or homes with older, gentle kids.
