Lovely Lucy is a one-year-old female Pointer/Labrador Retriever mix bursting with loyalty and gentle energy. She came into care after being abandoned but has truly blossomed—her resilient spirit shows in how quickly she’s bounced back from a strained knee and is already eager to explore and play. Lucy is spayed, completely vaccinated (including rattlesnake vaccine), tested heartworm free, and arrives with a six-month supply of flea and tick prevention. She is friendly and sweet, loves everyone she meets—children, adults, other dogs, and cats. Lucy quickly picked up basic commands like sit and stay, can even hop into the tub for baths, and is making great progress on her leash manners. She enjoys lounging on the porch and playing with water from the hose, and would thrive with a yard to burn off her playful energy. At about 70 pounds, she needs a bit of space to run and really comes alive with people who give her attention and love.
