About Max
Max’s journey hasn’t been easy. She lost her person unexpectedly and spent months isolated, coping with grief and hunger, locked away in an apartment. When she was finally rescued, fear got the better of her and she vanished into a warehouse, high above everyone, surviving out of sight for eight long months. People thought Max was feral, but she just needed safety and time to heal. The truth came out once someone earned her trust. Max is gentle, snuggly, and remarkably well-mannered. She is now thriving in a temporary foster home—litter box trained, non-destructive, and mellow. Max would do best in a calm, stable setting where she can finally relax. She gets along with cats, dogs, and kids, so she’s a flexible addition to the right household. Born January 22, she’s an Aquarius, known for resilience and a unique independent spirit. After all she’s endured, Max is truly ready for her next chapter. Click apply to start the adoption process.
