About Kiwi
Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started. Meet Kiwi, a quirky and charming 2.5-year-old Spaniel mix who’s ready to be your adorable little shadow! Though she loves being with her people, Kiwi prefers to show affection from a slight distance—think cat-like, but even cuter. She thrives being close but not cuddled and will happily zoom around the house with boundless morning excitement, showing her joy through playful antics rather than touch. Kiwi’s early life tested her strength: she was rescued after being hit by a car, which left her with temporary vision loss and some lasting shyness. Thankfully, her vision improved, and she’s learned to navigate the world with resilience and grace. With a calm, respectful home and patient people, she blooms at her own pace, rewarding kindness with her unique form of love. She’s incredibly dog-friendly, happiest with other small dogs who give her confidence and companionship. Kiwi is also cat-friendly and fine with children—as long as they understand her need for gentle space. She’s house-trained, loves her crate, and while she’s still working on perfect bathroom routines, she thrives with a consistent schedule. Because she’s sensitive to touch and not yet leash trained, a secure backyard is a must to let her safely explore and sunbathe. For those who appreciate the magic of small steps and gentle souls, Kiwi promises a one-of-a-kind bond. She may not fit the typical dog mold, but her quirky spirit and brave heart make her a perfect companion for an understanding forever home. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
