About Varric Tethras
Varric Tethras has a kinked tail and a guarded optimism that makes him hard to ignore. He arrived waryāmore likely to hiss than purrābut careful handling and patience have coaxed out a bit of his inner rogue. People tried catching him by hand as a community kitten before the rescue stepped in, and itās easy to see why he needs a home where his boundaries are respected. Varric is looking for an indoor-only setup with another playful, confident cat to model good behavior. Heās blossomed around felines like his fosterās chatty tortie, Mirage, but remains reluctant with dogs, especially larger or energetic ones. In his foster home, he lives with adult cats of varying personalities and two adults who work standard hours. Heās had exposure to children, but only infrequent visits from grandchildren, so heās probably best with cat-savvy kids or in an adult household. While heās been introduced to both large livestock guardian dogs and small senior terriers, heās naturally anxious around dogs. Varric has completed his basic āsuperhero curriculumāāheās litter box trained, has manners, and has started trusting people, at least on his terms.
