About Vinnie

He shares his name with van Gogh, and he’s a whiskered work of art. Meet Vinnie, a living masterpiece brimming with quiet depth. Vinnie, with his charcoal coloring and thoughtful personality, arrived after a life outdoors among other cats. His favorite companions are fellow felines—Vinnie seeks out nervous new arrivals and offers silent support, keeping watch when other cats need comforting. He seems to understand their struggles, and finds connection cat to cat more than with people. People still worry him. If approached too quickly, Vinnie may hiss or swat, not out of aggression but fear. That said, he’s starting to enjoy gentle touch in small doses, and is supported by a team that respects his boundaries. Vinnie’s future adopter will need patience, understanding, and a commitment to letting him grow at his pace. He may never seek out laps or cuddles, but his subtle ways make him a truly unique friend for the right home. Click apply to start the adoption process.
