About Vinnie
They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! He shares his name with van Gogh, and he’s a whiskered work of art. Meet Vinnie, our living masterpiece! Like that other Vincent, Vinnie has a deeply thoughtful soul. This little charcoal artist arrived from an outdoor cat colony and shines brightest when he's among his fellow felines. With stars in his eyes for other cats, Vinnie quietly befriends nervous newcomers and can often be found offering gentle companionship. He has even been observed "guarding" his feline friends during their toughest moments, providing comfort as only an empathetic cat can. Vinnie's life hasn’t always been easy, and his transformation from outdoor wanderer to indoor “artist” is still underway. He remains fearful around people, sometimes reacting with a hiss or swat when approached. However, surrounded by the patience and care of Tabby's Place, Vinnie is making steady progress—these days, he’s starting to allow brief, gentle pets. He would do best with a big-hearted adopter who’s happy to let him blossom at his own pace. While cuddles and lap-time might not be Vinnie’s style, with the right person and a slow, respectful approach, this beautiful masterpiece will feel right at home. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
