One look into Truman’s light-colored eyes, and you’ll be hooked. Truman is a young, medium-sized Pit Bull/Lab mix with a short coat and a sharp mind. He already knows sit, stay, and crate, and he’s solidly house and crate trained. He’ll even bark or ring a bell when he needs to go out or just wants a snack—this dog knows how to make his needs clear. Truman balances play and relaxation well. He’s active, loves walks, fetch, and tug-of-war, and you might spot him chasing the occasional squirrel or rabbit, but he’s also content curling up with you afterward, ready to snuggle and take on the role of the big spoon. Truman is big on hard chew toys (Kong with yogurt and strawberries is his favorite) and is still working through some puppy habits like occasional mouthiness and blanket nibbling. He gets along with other dogs after proper introductions and is curious but gentle with cats, though he’d do best without small kittens around.
