About Talley
Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started. Talley’s journey from uncertainty to trust is a testament to her resilient spirit. Once she gets to know you, her initial guardedness melts away, revealing a deeply loyal companion shaped by past experiences of rejection and abandonment. Talley was found abandoned with her senior chihuahua buddy in the summer heat, and even while scared, she bravely led rescuers to her friend before allowing herself to be caught, showcasing her devotion and intelligence. Talley thrives in a calm, low-key environment as she has likely endured mistreatment over the years. She tends to form closer bonds with women but has select men she trusts as well. Talley enjoys toys, walks, car rides, and relaxing beside her people. She is fully housebroken, never chews, and prefers to sleep at the foot of your bed or cuddle alongside you. Though she can be crated, she doesn’t require it. Talley does best with other dogs her size or smaller who respect her space and would love to stay with her buddy Teddy if possible—a dream, but worth a shot! This estimated 4–5-year-old small Corgi/Dachshund/Chihuahua mix weighs around 20 pounds. Talley is looking for a loving, understanding home where her unique blend of independence and affection will truly shine. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
