Meet Hank – A Brave Soul Looking for His Healing Home Hank is a handsome Australian Cattle Dog with a tender spirit and a heart that’s ready to learn what love truly feels like. Born into a boarding kennel with very little human interaction, Hank spent his early life surrounded by many dogs but without the comfort of blankets, toys, treats, or consistent people who cared for him. Because of this, he missed out on the socialization and stability that every dog deserves. Today, Hank is a sensitive and nervous boy—especially around new people. But beneath that fear is a dog who wants to trust, who watches quietly, who tries hard, and who blossoms in small ways when treated with patience and kindness. Once he knows you, he enjoys gentle pets and showing you his zoomies in the yard. Hank needs a very special adopter: -Someone experienced with fearful or under socialized dogs -A quiet, child-free home with very limited chaos -People who are home often and willing to go at Hank’s pace -A commitment to exclusively positive reinforcement -A promise to celebrate the tiny victories along the way For the right person, Hank will be an incredibly rewarding companion.
