About Dorothea
Dorothea—or "DD" to friends—came into rescue at just the right time, born the day after her mom Taylor arrived. Raised in a loving foster home, Dorothea is about 1.5 years old and all grown up at around 40 pounds. She has a striking brindle coat and loads of character: playful, endlessly curious, and happiest in the arms of her person. Basic skills are no problem for her: she's spayed, vaccinated, heartworm negative, kennel trained, housebroken, and does well on a leash. Dorothea thrives with other dogs, sharing her foster home with pups big and small. She’s happy to let others take charge and falls right in with the pack. However, she isn’t a fan of cats, so a feline-free home is a must. Dorothea also gets along with children and brings a big, joyful spirit everywhere she goes. If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate, and spirited companion, Dorothea’s ready to join your family and make every day brighter. She’s waiting in Memphis, TN, eager to introduce herself to her next adventure. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
