About Koda

Koda turns heads wherever he goes. If you have a lot of land and want a savvy canine to watch over things (and chase away squirrels), Koda fits the bill. Born in July 2022 (making him a Cancer, known for their loyalty and big hearts), Koda is a young, people-pleasing pup who thrives with space and purpose. He gets along great with female dogs but tends to pester or try to dominate males—he’s not aggressive, just likes to be top dog. Cats, however, are a firm no for Koda. He learns fast, picks up tricks in no time, and already knows sit, stay, lay down, turn around, and paw. He’s crate and leash trained, but also stubborn and sometimes follows his own rules. Unfortunately, Koda spent his early life crated constantly and isn’t housebroken, despite months of effort—he’s best in a setup where he can mostly be outside but come in for downtime and colder weather. If you’ve got room for a big, smart, affectionate dog with a knack for the cold and a heart ready for a real home, Koda’s your guy. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
