About Hobgoblin

I have Manx Syndrome which means I don't always poop in the box, but I try. My foster home has cats and dogs, so I should fit in with any family who lets me be boss.

About Manx Cats

Manx cats are a tailless breed originating from the Isle of Man, known for their round bodies, round heads, and powerful hind legs that are longer than their front legs, giving them a distinctive hopping gait. They range from completely tailless ("rumpy") to having a full tail ("longy"), with several variations in between.

Adopting a Manx means welcoming a playful, loyal companion often described as dog-like in their devotion. They love to play fetch, follow their owners around, and are known as excellent jumpers despite (or perhaps because of) their unique build. Manx cats are wonderful family cats who are gentle with children and get along well with other pets.

Health notes: Prone to Manx syndrome, a collection of spinal defects that can cause bowel, bladder, and mobility issues. Arthritis and corneal dystrophy may also occur. Only adopt from breeders who screen for spinal issues.
