About Gulliver
Start your journey together! Apply now. Almost three centuries after Jonathan Swift introduced Lemuel Gulliver to the world, Tabby's Place met another Gulliver—this time, a resilient tuxedo cat who has triumphed over immense challenges. While not as well-traveled as his literary namesake, this Gulliver endured his own epic ordeal, being discovered injured on the roadside, likely following an accident with a car. With fractures to his pelvis, femur, and tail, his road to recovery was daunting, but through surgery and care, he not only survived but flourished. Gulliver lost part of his tail due to infection, but throughout his recovery, he inspired everyone with his loving spirit (and hearty appetite), kneading blankets and hearts alike. Today, Gulliver thrives in the community room, surrounded by feline friends, though he remains urinary incontinent and requires his bladder to be expressed. Despite this, he enjoys an otherwise typical life, basking in his favorite cozy spot and enjoying companionship. Gulliver can be a bit reserved when first meeting new friends, whether human or feline, but his shy, sweet nature quickly blossoms into affection and steady purring. This special boy is looking for a forever family ready to welcome his gentle heart and embark on a new adventure together. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
