Rudy
AvailableRudy is a large, adult male Pit Bull Terrier currently in Belleville, MI. He has been neutered and is in good health, thanks to a recent checkup. Rudy needs a home without children and would do best in a ranch-style house or bungalow with rugs or carpeting, as he has some neurological issues from past injuries that affect his gait. He gets along well with other dogs of similar size and will thrive with caring adopters who can accommodate his needs.
About Rudy
Rudy is a goofy, fun-loving Pit Bull Terrier who brings a lot of personality with him wherever he goes. Recently returned to his foster home due to unforeseen circumstances, he hasn’t lost his playful spirit. He enjoys romping around and is always up for a short stroll, though right now he’s working on shedding some extra pounds and getting back into shape. Rudy thrives in a home without kids and really comes alive around other dogs his own size. Ideally, he’ll have a well-mannered, tolerant female canine companion to pal around with. Rudy had a tough start—he was rescued as a puppy with significant injuries and some lingering neurological issues, but that never gets in his way. He’s improved a lot through physical therapy; while he still walks a little unsteadily, rugs and carpets help him get around, and he does best in a single-story house or bungalow. He can’t handle more than a few stairs, but if you have the right setup, he’ll be your constant shadow. With a clean bill of health from the vet, Rudy is more than ready to start fresh. He just wants to be close to his people and have a gentle dog friend by his side. Ready to meet Rudy? Give him a chance at the good life. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
