About Rudy
This could be the start of something paw-some. Rudy is a fun-loving, goofy boy who has returned to rescue through no fault of his own, and is just as sweet and energetic as ever. He enjoys romping around and going for short walks, and his foster family is helping him with his fitness routine to get him back in shape. Rudy would be happiest in a home without children and would really love a canine companion of similar size to share his days! He has made wonderful progress in foster care and has recently passed a thorough vet check, so he's ready to find his next adventure. This handsome tricolor Pit Bull Terrier first came to the rescue as a tiny puppy with serious injuries, including an extreme bite wound and some lasting neurological quirks. Rudy walks with a bit of a wobble, but his spirit is unstoppable. Thanks to physical therapy, his gait has improved a lot, but he does best in homes with mostly carpeted or rug-covered floors and isn't able to tackle more than a few stairs—making a ranch or bungalow perfect for him. He bonds closely with people, adores snuggling up, and thrives with a tolerant, well-mannered dog friend. Rudy is ready to fill his next home with so much love! Think you are the one?
