About Rocket

They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Meet Rocket, a spirited Russian Blue male with so much energy, you’ll quickly see how he got his name! At about 1 ½ years old, Rocket thrives on running, jumping, and all sorts of play—always ready for a new adventure. Not only is he playful, but Rocket is also extremely affectionate and purrs up a storm. He sometimes gets a little too excited and may give gentle love bites, just to let you know how happy he is! Rocket has experience living with another cat and has done well, although his play might be a bit enthusiastic for some feline friends. His past included a stay in a tough shelter, followed by being passed between several people, which was quite stressful for him. He has now found comfort and loving care with Cat Posse Rescue, and he’s searching for the stable forever home he deserves. Rocket requires a bit of special care: he must remain on a urinary diet. That means any dry food should be specifically labeled as urinary dry food, but he can enjoy regular wet food without worry. Rocket has tested negative for Feline Leukemia and FIV, giving you peace of mind as you welcome him home. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
