About Skittles
Skittles is a big, gentle soul with a true pirate’s look—he’s missing one eye, but it doesn’t slow him down or stop him from charming everyone he meets. He was abandoned by a previous adopter and was lucky enough to be rescued by a Good Samaritan. Now, this 20-pound tabby is looking for a fresh start. Skittles is affectionate, gives friendly love nibbles, and has a bold personality that’s hard to miss. He’ll need an experienced cat owner who understands the quirks and needs of feline companions. He does best as an only animal—he isn’t comfortable around dogs, other cats, or young children, so a quiet, adult-only home is ideal. Skittles has healed from recent surgery and is on a manageable weight loss plan. His dental procedure is set up, and his vet says he’s in good health for his age. Skittles was born in early April, making him an Aries—the sign known for courage and leadership. If you’re ready to open your heart to a loving, one-of-a-kind companion, Skittles is ready to meet you. Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin!

Questions about Skittles

Skittles is a tabby cat, and like many domestic cats, he prefers a calm indoor environment with cozy places to relax. Given his temperament, a quiet home without other pets or young children would suit him best.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Domestic cats like Skittles generally do well indoors and don’t require outdoor space. Supervised outdoor time in a secure area can be enriching, but it’s not essential for his happiness.
