Meet Toffee. At just two years old and around 30 lbs, this petite mixed-breed dog is all about fun, socializing, and affection. She delights in neighborhood strolls, happy to greet dogs and people with her friendly, outgoing spirit. Once home, Toffee shows off her playful side—zooming across the yard and then chilling out on the porch to keep an eye on the world. Her curiosity extends to chasing after squirrels and lizards, so she’s not the best match for a home with cats. Inside, Toffee has discovered a love for air conditioning and would rather be nowhere else than curled up in her person’s lap for a snuggle. She’s still learning that pillows and blankets aren’t as fun to chew as her toys, but she’s making solid progress with some redirection. While her size would work in a condo or apartment, she really lights up in a home with a yard to run, play, and relax. She’s working on her manners, especially waiting calmly at the gate before walks, but once she’s out and about, her nose brings out her explorer side.
