As a dessert, zeppole is a sweet pastry with a dusting of powdered sugar; as a kitty, Zeppole is even sweeter but she's got a whole lot more than a dusting of white! LOL. It's just a dusting of other color that gives her that especially interesting look. A petite doll of a lady, Zeppole was returned to the rescue when her owners had to move and couldn't take her; that was when we discovered that she had a rough skin condition as an allergic reaction to fleas. The poor girl was covered with them! We've took care the flea situation and resolved the allergic skin reaction -- and no more outdoors for her again! (She wasn't supposed to be anyway.). With all she has been through, she is shy but very sweet and we think she would be fine with a person to call her own, or she could be a companion for an equally gentle and welcoming resident cat. Zeppole is the best snuggler and you will love having her curled up beside or near you, buried and dozing under a fleece blanket. :). She does have some minor eye scarring but it doesn't affect her ability to see and doesn't require treatment. So give yourself an extra special treat -- ask us about Zeppole. estimated dob: 7/15/21
