About Rita
Rita and her bonded buddy Roxanne are looking for a home together—no splitting these two up. When they first landed in their foster’s care, both were nervous about humans and needed time to find their footing. Every bit of progress they've made is thanks to dedication, patience, and gentle encouragement. Rita is now curious and starting to show off her playful side, always on the lookout for new toys to swat or places to explore. Despite all the growth, they’ll still need adopters ready to give them patience and space to keep blossoming. Rita and Roxanne thrive on each other’s company—playtime, nap time, treat time, they do it all as a team. These two would thrive in a calm, quiet household, ideally with people who understand or have worked with shy cats before. Homes with dogs or young kids aren’t a fit, but other cat companions could help them settle in confidently. If you’re patient and attentive, you’ll get to witness these sweet girls keep unfolding. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
