Like many guardian breeds, Dorothy might be a bit shy when meeting new people, but she warms up quickly and shows her affection once comfortable. Dorothy is housebroken, leash trained, knows her basic obedience, and uses a dog door with ease. While she does best as the only dog, she may be able to live with a large male dog over 50 lbs after a careful introduction. An adult-only home suits her best, due to her needs and temperament.
