Maize is a 3-year-old boxer mix sweetheart who is as affectionate as they come! She adores people, loves to snuggle up close, and will happily roll over for belly rubs. Her perfect day would start with sleeping in next to her human, followed by a nice walk or a relaxing trip to a coffee shop or brewery where she can people-watch. After that, she’s all about playtime with her toys, a game of tug-of-war, and of course, plenty of cozy naps. Maize is a smart girl who has been working hard on her leash manners and basic commands. She learns quickly, especially when her favorite reward, cheese, is involved! She has proven to be a well-mannered lady in her foster home and has had no accidents and can be trusted to be left out when home alone. She can be selective with other dogs, so she may do best as the only pup in the home or with an experienced dog owner who can help her with slow introductions.
