About Colby
Colby is a three-legged orange tabby with a spark of resilience and a gentle soul. After surviving a car accident that left him with only three legs, he’s adjusted with remarkable ease and confidence. Colby is initially shy around new people, but once he feels comfortable, he turns into a talkative, affectionate companion, happily rolling over his humans’ feet in search of pets and giving the occasional soft nibble to let you know when he's ready for a break. He’s playful in spurts—loves chasing red lights and batting around catnip toys—but he’s equally content relaxing in a cozy spot, especially when he’s with his best friend Jack. Colby and Jack have always been together and share a deep bond, so these two need a home where they can stay side by side. Colby has a fondness for water from a fountain, more than wet food, and gets along well with other cats. Colby is currently in a temporary foster home near Hampton, VA, and is looking for someone ready to open their home to two gentle companions. He's a Leo, so expect a little charming flair and a love of attention (on his terms). Your new best friend is just one click away.
