Chip is a young, large male American Bulldog/American Bully mix in Agua Dulce, CA. He has a short coat and is not yet house trained. Chip is neutered and up to date on all his vaccinations. Even though he’s already two years old, he still carries all the energy and behaviors of a puppy. He’s waiting patiently for a lasting home.

About Chip

Chip’s story started rough—he and his litter mate were found abandoned as puppies on a freeway. While his sibling was adopted quickly, Chip spent time in the county shelter, struggling until the family who found him stepped in to keep him safe. They reached out for rescue help, hoping he could find a true forever home. Even at two years old and 80 lbs, Chip is all puppy: goofy, energetic, and a bit headstrong. Training is a work in progress. He’s strong on leash and needs plenty of patience for basics, but he’s eager to learn. Right now, Chip does best as the only dog in the household; with a lot of work and the right fit, he could potentially live with a similar-sized companion, but that’s not an option for him just yet. He doesn’t get along with cats either. Chip’s adopters need to be local to the Los Angeles, CA area, as an in-person visit and home check are required. Click apply to start the adoption process.
