About Paisley

Make their next chapter their best one yet. Meet Paisley, a truly special girl seeking the forever home she deserves. Recently adopted, Paisley returned to the shelter after showing possessive behavior in her new environment and biting several people soon after arrival. While this was heartbreaking for all involved, it has never occurred in over two years of loving care from numerous volunteers. Paisley’s behavior seems to surface when she feels overwhelmed or protective in new settings, and she may thrive best with a skilled, experienced adopter who can provide stability and guidance, ideally as a one-owner dog. Despite this recent setback, Paisley’s heart is immense. She is a beautiful, energetic, and healthy mix of Yellow Labrador Retriever and Great Pyrenees, known for her loyalty and devotion. Her true spirit shines in her playful, affectionate nature with trusted friends, always eager to bond and belong. Though she lost her previous family in the wake of a startling incident, Paisley has shown nothing but love and angelic behavior since coming into rescue. With the right adopter, Paisley will blossom into the devoted, joyful companion she's meant to be. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
