This beautiful black Domestic Long Hair senior female is small in size and currently resides with The Feline Rescue Association. She is spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations. Matilda is house trained. She does not get along well with other cats. Her special dietary needs include Fancy Feast wet food and prescription GI dry food, and she requires ongoing management for asthma and IBS, making close communication with a veterinarian important.

About Matilda

Click apply to start the adoption process. Are you one of the select few searching for a senior floof with only two teeth, moderate asthma, IBS, and an unapologetically sassy disposition? If so, Matilda (also known as Tilly) might just be your perfect match! Matilda is a quirky character—imagine a sour patch kid mixed with a grackle and a hint of static electricity. Her vocal stylings are something to behold, somewhere between a forest witch and a lifelong smoker, and she’ll make sure you hear her if dinner is late. Despite her attitude, Matilda is an expert snuggler, and the sight of her fluffy form prancing toward you (scream-meowing and carrying her latest “kill” in her mouth) is guaranteed to lift your spirits. Her asthma is kept in check with a steroid she takes willingly in a pill pocket, and her IBS is well managed with Fancy Feast wet food and prescription GI dry food. As a senior, Matilda will need an adopter committed to staying in close contact with her vet to keep her feeling her best. Matilda strongly prefers to be the only cat in the household; she has lived with cats before but tends to bully them. From her hilarious antics to her champion cuddling sessions, Matilda promises a home filled with laughter, warmth, and a unique brand of feline love. Just be careful—this senior diva won’t hesitate to trade you and your treasures for a taste of Churu! Matilda is an Aries—get ready for a bold and spirited companion. What are you waiting for?
