About Malcom Loves To Play
Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you. Malcom is a sweet and mellow 2-year-old Labrador Retriever mix who charms everyone he meets with his friendly and gentle nature. Well socialized, it seems he once belonged to someone but spent recent weeks fending for himself outdoors—neighbors reported seeing him survive by drinking from the gutter and searching for food on the streets. When found, Malcom confidently approached his rescuers, ready for a second chance at happiness. Though he didn’t have a collar or microchip, he has settled beautifully into home life and relishes the comfort of a cozy bed. Bright and attentive, Malcom is picking up new skills quickly, already mastering many basic commands and proving himself to be a great walking companion, even for a medium-sized dog. He gets along well with other dogs both at home and on walks. While Malcom is still adjusting to cats, he’s best suited for a home without them. This affectionate boy loves to cuddle, enjoy outdoor adventures, and is eager to be part of an active home—especially one with a yard where he can play and relax. Malcom has been examined by a veterinarian, neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped, ensuring he’s ready to thrive in his new Southern California forever or foster home.
