About Haley
Haley is fiercely loyal and deeply devoted to the people she lets into her world. She forms tight bonds and will be your steadfast companion for life, but she isn't interested in welcoming strangers or having a bustling household—she prefers a small, trusted group of humans who respect her boundaries. She thrives with someone who knows dogs well, especially Rottweilers, and must be the only pet in the home—other animals are not in her circle. Haley adores her stuffed toys, proudly parading them around and inventing her own games. Despite her playful streak, she's managing some ongoing medical needs, including arthritis in her spine and hip dysplasia, and she's undergone a couple of mass removals. Her new person needs to be prepared to stay on top of her vet care to keep her comfortable. Because of her strong personality and special care requirements, a home without young children is best. For those who understand her needs, Haley will be a fiercely loyal friend who brings a lot of heart. Haley is a Leo—she may be independent, but she shines brightest in her trusted circle.
