Luwak graduated from our Shy room to General Population in January of 2022. He is still a little on the shy side but he was very interested in his friends on the other side of the catio. He seems to be adjusting well but may not want to meet new people just yet. With time and some observation of humans interacting with his roommates, we think he will be ready for some attention of his own. We've noticed that if you are close enough to slowly extend a hand, he's likely to sniff you. Luwak found strength with his friend Hubbard. He used to be seen with his brother as well. He's graciously allowed the friendship between his friend and his brother to blossom and took a step back. He's very curious about humans now so we'd love it if you'd come help him with that progress.
