Neyet
AvailableThis lovely black senior female domestic short hair is currently in the loving care of The Hermitage Cat Shelter. She is spayed and her vaccinations are up to date. Neyet is a special needs kitty, as she is FIV positive and has had all of her teeth removed, making her care unique but manageable. She would do best in a patient and gentle environment.
About Neyet
They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Neyet is a sweet, very shy lady looking for someone who will understand her gentle soul and give her the TLC she needs to feel safe. Right now, she spends time in a quiet, cozy room, mostly with other shy kitties, slowly building her confidence. With each passing day, Neyet grows a bit bolder—she no longer runs away, but she still isn't quite ready for affection or pets. She is undoubtedly waiting for just the right person to earn her trust and share her journey. Neyet is FIV positive, which is not as intimidating as it once seemed. She’s integrated with other cats and, following her full dental extraction in February 2025, can’t spread FIV to others. Interested adopters are encouraged to speak with shelter staff about what it means to care for an FIV-positive cat. She’s simply waiting for a patient, understanding adopter to offer her a loving forever home. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
