Chandler is a male Domestic Short Hair/Tabby with black and white coloring and a short coat. He is just over two years old, living in New Port Richey, FL. Chandler is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, house trained, and has been described as needing special consideration due to his shy nature.

About Chandler

Chandler came in shy and rough around the edges, rescued from a house packed with hundreds of cats and far too many dogs. When he first arrived in April 2024, he was dehydrated, malnourished, crawling with fleas, and battling ringworm and coccidia. Now, after lots of support and top-notch vet care, Chandler is healthy and ready for a new chapter. He’s watched his sisters go off to new homes, and it’s his turn to find a safe, understanding place to land. He’s a striking cat—white with black tabby markings and a sleek short coat. Chandler isn’t your typical social butterfly. He takes time to relax around new people, so he’ll need someone patient, quiet, and experienced with cats who need time to trust. A tall cat tree will make him happy, as he loves observing the world from above. Once Chandler feels secure, he’s gentle and will seek you out for affection, but he operates on his own clock. He gets along well with other cats, so a feline companion could help him feel at home. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
