Maxie is a super sweet, affectionate and pretty chill dog, though playful at times. She will love to snuggle with another dog, and curl up together to sleep, or seek out a spot next to her humans on the couch. She is gentle with treats and will follow you everywhere you go in the house, curious and interested - and perhaps a little bit of hoping for a treat! She is dog friendly with other dogs and enjoys running around in the backyard, playing chase with he Sanctuary buddies. She would be happy living in a family environment or with a single adult or couple with time to go on walks and play. She could use a bit of extra training on leash manners, but is learning to walk well when wearing harness. Maxie will make a terrific companion in almost any situation.
