About Dubs
What are you waiting for? Apply today! Dubs is a big, energetic young boy searching for his forever home! He’s enthusiastic about belly rubs, loves getting scratches around his shoulders and back, and is always ready for a game of fetch or some time running around the dog park. His playful and goofy side shines through, but he also possesses an admirable loyalty, stepping up as your security guard if he senses anything out of the ordinary. Dubs can get anxious if he’s cooped up for too long, which is why staff at his previous daycare say he thrives in active environments where he can play and just be himself. He deserves a home with plenty of space and a family that has endless love (and belly rubs!) to give. A recent volunteer outing with Dubs showed just how adaptable and kind-hearted he is. Even on a tight car ride, he settled in comfortably alongside his human companion, and when introduced to two small dogs, Dubs was both friendly and respectful of their boundaries. His playful energy came out at the beach, from chasing thrown sticks to joyfully stomping on the waves! While he was occasionally strong on the leash, it’s clear excitement got the better of him, especially in a new and stimulating place. Dubs is highly food motivated, already knows how to sit for treats, and would likely pick up new tricks quickly. Every adventure with him is full of happy moments, and he’s eagerly waiting for more. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
