Rascal is 4 years old, neutered, vaccinated, negative for FeLV, litter trained and microchipped. He is positive for FIV but please don’t let this deter you from considering her for adoption. FIV+ cats can live long and happy lives. FIV cats can reside with dogs without any concern. FIV+ cats can reside with other friendly cats who are either FIV + or FIV-. FIV is transmitted only through deep bite wounds, typically during mating. FIV is not transmitted between cats from sharing food/water bowls or litter boxes.
