Please meet Sprinter. He is a recent arrival who is slowly getting used to his new environment. He is learning to trust the volunteers and responds very positively to attention. You must approach him slowly, but he enjoys head scratches and especially gentle belly rubs. Sprinter will need patience and TLC but he shows so much promise to be an appreciative and loving companion. Sprinter is coexisting very well with his roommates. Consider opening your heart and home to handsome Sprinter. Sprinter is 4 years old, neutered, vaccinated, negative for FeLV, litter trained and microchipped. Sprinter is positive for FIV but please don’t let this deter you from considering him for adoption. FIV+ cats can live long and happy lives. FIV cats can reside with dogs without any concern. FIV+ cats can reside with other friendly cats who are either FIV + or FIV-. FIV is transmitted only through deep bite wounds, typically during mating.
