With a beautiful short tan and white coat, Cap'n is both smart and loyal, always eager for his next adventure alongside an active, experienced family. After his beloved owner passed away, Cap'n found his way to rescue and is hoping to find a household where he can truly thrive. Already house-trained and crate-trained, Cap'n is a model companion both in the car and on the leash. True to his breed mix, he enjoys staying busy and learning new things, making him an ideal hiking or running partner. After an active day, he's thrilled to snuggle up for some cozy downtime. Because of his energy, size, and breed instincts, Cap'n would do best in a home with a fenced yard and no small children or cats. He has done well with calm, easygoing dog companions and may also enjoy being the only pet. Cap'n has benefited from professional board-and-train sessions and has proven himself both smart and affectionate. Like many cattle dogs, he can be protective with new people, but his trainer will offer detailed transition guidance to help his new family. Cap'n’s adoption fee covers age-appropriate vaccines, neuter, microchip, deworming, and heartworm testing. If you’re looking for an intelligent, loyal, and active dog ready for his forever adventure, Cap'n could be your perfect match. Fun fact: Born July 8, Cap'n is a Cancer, known for their loyal and loving nature. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
