About Buford
Buford was rescued after being found extremely underweight on the streets of Los Angeles. In his foster home with three big dogs, he adapted quickly and became a total gentleman. This 90 lb Boxer has proven himself as both affectionate and playful. He loves lounging in the sun, cuddling close on the bed or couch, playing fetch, and showing off his collection of stuffed animals. Buford has a knack for Netflix marathons, and he’s equally happy relaxing with his people or romping in the yard. He already knows basic commands—sit, go to his pen at mealtime, and heads outside for bedtime potty breaks. At night, Buford sleeps soundly and he’s picked up clever tricks, like parking himself right in front of the fan to cool off. With continued leash work, he’ll make an eager hiking or adventure companion. Buford deserves a home with a roomy yard and active folks who want to include him in daily outings. He gets along well with other dogs and children, bringing a gentle attitude to every interaction. If you’re ready for a loyal buddy with a sunny outlook, Buford is waiting.
