About Tyson
Click apply to start the adoption process. Tyson is still waiting for his forever family, and thanks to the care and attention of his wonderful foster mom Joanna, we’ve learned what makes him shine! Tyson is a well-mannered and trustworthy companion—he knows 'sit' and 'stay,' follows directions around the house, and is fully house trained, even over long days. There’s no need for a crate with this boy; he’ll snooze contentedly on the couch until you return. Social on walks, Tyson enjoys meeting other dogs, though he’s working on his leash skills and appreciates gentle reminders. While he’s initially a bit nervous, his main desire is to receive hugs and cuddles from everyone he meets. Tyson prefers a home without small animals due to his strong prey drive, but with dogs, he’s playful and gentle, especially during a game of tug of war or when enjoying a tough, durable toy. Barking is rare for Tyson – he’s a quiet presence who loves to snuggle and be near his people, delighting in attention and outdoor playtime. Are you ready to give Tyson the loving family he deserves?
