About Marshmellow
Marshmellow wandered in as a hungry stray kitten, desperate for comfort and food. She quickly made up for lost time—now she’s a big, plush cat with a thick medium coat that looks almost toasted at the edges. Her eyes are striking blue and noticeably crossed, a feature that makes her stand out and gives her a quirky outlook on life. Her vision is a little limited, but you’d never know it from watching her traverse the farm and settle in with the other cats. Marshmellow is part of a relaxed cat colony at the sanctuary and gets along with most felines. The resident Great Pyrenees watchdog doesn’t faze her either—she coexists peacefully and even seeks out gentle attention. Early on, Marshmellow played a bit rough, but she has mellowed out significantly, now preferring affection and calm company. Give her a lap or some gentle holding and she’ll soak up the love.
